Fabricates metal and structural steel components required in the construction of loading spouts, gates and diverters, dust collectors and fluidized conveyors by performing the following duties
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Utilizes standard production type manufacturing procedure
- Notifies management of discrepancies using ECR’s and DMR’s
- Maintains job files
- Maintains orderly and clean work area
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read blueprints and have working knowledge of shop math
- Must possess knowledge of fabrication machinery such as shear, press brake, punch press, etc.
- Ability to interpret specifications and communicate on technical matters
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing all day. Frequent bending at waist
- Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
